Vehicle Safety Supply was founded under the name Son Jack Supply in 1970 by Barry Pfeffer and his father Jack in Westchester, New York. For over forty years the company has primarily serviced Emergency Fleet maintenance facilities, and city municipalities supplying high quality heavy duty vehicle supply products from major manufacturers. Over the years the business product offerings expanded into emergency lighting, electrical vehicle supplies, fasteners, abrasives, lubricants, hand tools and safety equipment. In 1993 the warehouse operation expanded to Denver, Colorado and continues to service the Front Range and Inner Mountain west. In 1996 Barry’s son Daniel joined the company as the third generation of family management. VSS has expanded their product offerings online featuring a wide range of emergency lighting and electrical products from top selected manufacturers.
