Vehicle Safety Supply Shipping Policy

  • Most orders are received by customers within 5–10 business days from the date of purchase.
    • Non-shipping days include weekends and holidays.
  • Vehicle Safety Supply (VSS) offers over 100,000 products and makes every effort to keep items in stock or ship within the expected time frame.
  • Time in transit: Typically 1–7 business days, depending on your location.
  • For rush or expedited shipments, please call VSS at 877-295-6411.
  • Orders may be:
    •  Drop shipped directly from the manufacturer, or
    • Shipped from a VSS warehouse facility, depending on availability and proximity.
  • VSS ships products:
    • Within the continental United States
    • Internationally (shipping fees shown at checkout or may charged at time of shipping).
  • For international shipments, please communicate your preferred shipping method directly with VSS — especially for large or bulk orders.
  • Additional shipment fees may apply for the following product types or due to weight and size and may be charged after shipment:
    • Bumpers, grills, tool boxes, visors
    • Long-reach tools, lifting chains, slings
    • Bug shields, fenders, fender parts
    • Pintle hooks, ladder racks, tarps, and roll kits
    • Hydraulic motors, lightbars, arrow boards
    • Stacks, exhausts, clutch, and remanufactured products
    • International shipments
  • Address corrections made after delivery will incur additional charges. Proof of correction will be forwarded upon request.
  • International orders may be subject to customs fees and import duties. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and may be billed after shipment.
  • Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska may be subject to additional charges after shipment.
  • Free shipping offers apply only to the Continental U.S.A.

Vehicle Safety Supply Return Policy

  • Returns are accepted on non-specialty orders over $50 if requested within 15 days of receipt.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • A handling fee of up to 50% may apply.
  • Installed items or items with cut wires or physical damage will not be accepted.
  • Items must be returned in the original packaging.
  • The following cannot be returned:
    • Lightbars (any size), strobe beacons, arrow boards
    • Special orders (including bulk quantities of one part number)
    • Freight-shipped orders, international orders, orders over $500
    • Clearance items
  • Credits are issued within 30 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item(s).
  • To begin the return process, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) must be requested through our Contact Us form. Returns submitted without an RMA will not be eligible for a refund.

Vehicle Safety Supply Exchange, RGA, and Warranty Policy

  • Products may be returned for exchange for new or alternate products if:
    • The customer received the wrong item,
    • The item was damaged during shipping, or
    • The customer mistakenly ordered the wrong part and will place a new order of equal or greater value than the original purchase.
  • For Damaged Product. Vehicle Safety Supply will make every effort to replace damaged products in a timely manner.
  • The following information must be provided to process a damage claim:
    • A clear photo of the package
    • Photos showing any damages to the package or product
    • A photo of the packing slip included in the shipment
    • The total quantity of damaged items (if the order included more than one piece)
  • For Return and Exchange Conditions: The product must be received in its original, uninstalled condition.
  • Each return request must include:
    • A copy of your invoice number, and
    • The reason for return.
  • Defective items are covered and handled under the individual manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Products returned without an RGA number will be refused by Vehicle Safety Supply.
  • To begin the exchange process:
    • Submit a request for RGA through the Customer Service Form on the Contact Page of the website.
    • Customer Service will respond within 24 hours via email.
    • All tickets will be reviewed and handled according to the reason for return or exchange request.

Vehicle Safety Supply Pricing Policy

  • Pricing is subject to change due to factors such as:
    • Tariffs
    • Sudden increases in material costs
    • Other supplier-related adjustments
  • Vehicle Safety Supply acts as a distributor and is not responsible for inaccurate pricing provided by manufacturers or vendors.
  • Customers will be notified of any pricing changes prior to shipping their order.
  • International orders may be subject to additional fees, taxes, or duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient and are charged after shipping.

Vehicle Safety Supply Order Cancellation Policy


We strive to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. To maintain this efficiency, we have established the following guidelines regarding order cancellations.

1. The 24-Hour "Grace Period."
Standard Orders: Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of order placement may be voided with no cancellation fee.

Logistics Exceptions: Please note that this grace period is subject to the item's origin. If an order is fulfilled via our New York facility or dropshipped directly from the manufacturer, and has already entered the shipping/processing queue within that first 24 hours, a fee may still apply.

2. Cancellations After 24 Hours
Orders cancelled after the initial 24-hour window are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 20%.

This fee is determined based on the nature of the part, administrative costs, and any progress made in the fulfillment or manufacturing process.

3. Made-to-Order & Special Lead Time Items
Due to the specialized nature of our inventory, certain items are classified as Made-to-Order (MTO) or involve specific manufacturer lead times.

Non-Cancellable & Non-Returnable (NCNR): Once the production process has begun for custom or specialized parts, the order cannot be cancelled, and the item cannot be returned.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify specifications before finalizing orders for MTO parts.

4. Orders that are already locked and have a pick ticket can no longer be canceled by any of our representatives. The last option will be returning the item by requesting RMA through our website. https://www.vehiclesafetysupply.com/contact.html

Note: To request a cancellation, please contact our support team immediately with your order number. Cancellations are not finalized until you receive a written confirmation from our department.
